Catching my heart this morning

I'm currently focusing on & studying chapters 25-31 of Isaiah. This morning, as I was reading those chapters again, some verses stood out to me from times past that I have underlined.

"O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you; I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure... For you have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat." (25:1 & 4)

"You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in The Lord forever, for The Lord God is an everlasting rock." (26:3-4)

"For thus said The Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, 'In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength." (30:15)

"And though The Lord give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your Teacher will not hide himself anymore, but your eyes shall see your Teacher. And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, 'This is the way, walk in it,' when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left." (30:20-21)

God, please help me to praise and trust you, and allow you to speak to me. I will make time to listen and hear your words in order to follow your direction. I will trust and obey you because you are worthy of trust, even when life is hard.
