Who is a Pastor's Customer?
Seth Godin has some amazing insights into business that often translates into the church world. I thought this article brought up a great question.
Who Is Your Customer
It could be argued that a pastor's customers are those who attend his church... and I think the argument would be wrong. Ultimately a pastor's customer is God. He's the one we want to please. He's the one we want to serve. Of course, it could also be argued that He's also our boss. No analogy is perfect, but this one certainly does bring up a good point: Who are we trying to please when we lead a church, or even a ministry within the church?
