Ben's First Game

Ben had his first t-ball game last Saturday. To say that he was amazing would simply be stating my obvious bias as his dad. However... he was amazing, and I'm very proud of him. You'll have to accept the bias. He played catcher, "pitcher" and right field (which consisted of being between the second and first baseman and almost back to the grass). He did a great job, especially as on the mound. He scooped that ball right up every time it was
hit to him, and threw it right to the first baseman... who, every time, was looking elsewhere. He's lucky Ben didn't nail him in the chest or something. His hits were amazing, and he p
robably could have made it to second all three times if they'd let him. Okay, now I'm downright bragging, but it sure is fun. Here are some pics.I wasn't able to make Michael's game last night, but he said he came w/in four feet of hitting the left field fence before the guy caught it. His second at-bat he hit a double to left filed. Considering his batting the first two games, I'm proud of him for having hit it at all. His percentage isn't great right now, but he's adjusting and doing well. It's too bad he's going to have to move to Moses Lake and start over with another team. Mom said she'd send me pictures of that game soon. Michael's team is 1-2 so far.
