God still speaks through Isaiah

I recently finished reading the prophecies of Isaiah. God spoke to me through many of the things Isaiah said. Of course, there were a few verses that stood out because they are so well known. However, I wanted to share some that struck me that aren't as well known.

26:3-4 - "You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock."

30:20-21 - "And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your Teacher will not hide Himself anymore, but your eyes shall see your Teacher. And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, 'This is the way, walk in it,' when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left."

Actually, God brought this passage to light when we went to the Shepherd's Conference in Great Falls last year. Under the circumstances, it has continued to encourage us.

Finally, this passage spoke very clearly to Shari and I during our 21-day fast in Jan.

50:10 - "Who among you fears the Lord and obeys the voice of His servant? Let him who walks in darkness and has no light trust in the name of the Lord and rely on his God."

We've certainly been walking in darkness lately. Yet God, in His grace, seems to have given us some clear direction. I'll try and post on that tomorrow.
