Michael's birthday

Today we celebrated Michael's birthday. It was a fantastic time with Michael's friends. They played a racing board game called Formula De that my pastor loaned him. Shari made an excellent yellow cake with a pineapple topping, then Cool Whip on top. Then Michael opened his presents. Who would have thought an 11 year old would enjoy a fruit basket for his birthday, or t-shirts, either? His favorite, though, was/is a DVD of his current favorite band: PureNRG. He had a blast watching that after everybody had left. So, Michael's an 11 year old now. One more year, and he's in the youth group. A year after that, and he's an official teenager. We were talking about going back, or skipping ahead in age, and he suggested that we were right, and asked if he could just have the keys to the car now. I said: No!
