A Fall Afternoon
Today the leaves in our maple trees out front decided it was time to leave and fall. Within hours our yard was full of leaves, and the boys were having a blast raking them into piles. They jumped into them, built forts in them, and threw them at me when I came home. I had a short break this afternoon, and it was fun just to play with them in the leaves. Here are some pictures from this afternoon.

Mark added some furniture to his leaf fort.

The Mark and Matthew built a little fort with a spare blanket. You'll notice the slide, too. They had lots of fun on that. Ben tried it, but didn't like getting up there to ride down.

Matthew created a skateboard ramp out back with some lumber laying around. If you look carefully, you'll notice that my little daredevil has the plywood on top of a car... with perfectly working wheels. He's oblivious.
It's a good day when you can spend some fun time just playing in the leaves with your kids.
