We were a little late in getting these pictures taken, as I don't think they were done until the end of school, and maybe not until the next day, but we got 'em. Shari and the boys started school the week after we returned from vacation (Aug. 14). The boys are doing very well on the new schedule, and I'm very excited about it. We start the day with some sort of Bible/devotional time. Currently we're going through a book of heroes of the faith (
Hero Tales, Volume III), including Billy Graham, Geor

ge Washington Carver, and many more, including many I've never heard of. The book uses life stories from these people to teach lessons on Christian character, like integrity, perseverance, etc. My parents gave left it for us at their house. We stayed there our first night of vacation while they are in Morocco. In between reading about those people, God's given me lessons from Bible stories along the same lines to teach my boys different things. Then they all have a quiet time so that Shari can have her own time with God. It's been very effective, not only in giving Shari time, but also in teach

ing the boys the importance of having time with God, especially the older two, who are old enough to understand, if not appreciate it. Matthew and Benjamen go downstairs, though sometimes I'll read a Bible story to them. After that, they're off on more academic subjects. It's been a great time of bon

ding, learning, and growing for all of us. I love the schedule, and so does Shari.
