Progress is Progressing
It wasn't smooth, but, thanks to some large help from Ryan, a freshman, as well as my own boys, the office and play room has the first coat of primer on it. While I'll be taking some time off today to relax with the family, I will be continuing this week to make progress on painting and staining things to finish the office.
Carpeting it may be a more difficult process. The ideal carpet we would like costs a little over $1200 (including installation). That's a bit more than the church can afford. On the other hand, to buy the cheap carpet (literally and figuratively) would be to put in carpet that we not only don't like, but probably wouldn't wear well over the long haul. This means that it wouldn't be a good investment on our part. So, we're praying now for something in the middle - God's provision, a carpet we like, and costs coming down to something more reasonable. People praying for this need would be appreciated.
