"When we get the time and money, here's some place I'd like to explore." Shari showed me Elk City on an Idaho map. Take highway 12 to 13 in Idaho, then go southeast on 14 when you hit Grangeville. The reason she wants to explore it is because it's the end of highway 14 - I mean THE END. Why? What's there? You get the idea. So, being curious (and the internet being our only way of exploring until we get both time and money together), I Googled the area. One thing led to another, and I found this interesting newspaper article in the Idaho County Free Press. I thought I lived in the sticks when I have deer crossing the road in my neighborhood.
