A day at the carousel
Missoula has a beautiful carousel that was built, almost literally, by the public. It's a beautiful creation, and has a playground next to it that's a blast. To make it even better (especially during the summer), the whole complex is on the banks of the Clark Fork River. It is a beautiful setting, and a fun place to take the kids on a day of rest. So, Monday, when we left Lolo, the weather was beautiful. We didn't look at the Missoula area. It was dumping snow. So what. The carousel is indoors, so we went there first. Then we went to the Dragon Hollow Play Area and played with all the different slides, musical instruments, and swings, as well as a maze of sorts. It was a wonderful time of playing with the family.
