"I can do it myself!"

Matthew is amazing. A couple months ago I took off his training wheels and tried to teach him how to ride. After about 30 min., he deicided he wasn't interested. He hasn't picked it up since. Yesterday, with almost no help from Shari and I, he went outside, got on his bike, and simply started to ride. He's outside right now, riding around like he's been doing it for months. The boy simply enjoys learning things his way, in his time, on his own. Even the help we gave him was something we had to offer and give him the chance to reject or accept. The amazing way God creates every boy different!

Now I just have to get Michael a new rear rim to replace the one he totally bent to distruction when he was playing at a friend's house. I would have liked to have seen the wreck that did the damage.
